Danish Language Meetup Group

Has anyone started, organized, or been involved in one of these groups, based on the meetup.com website or otherwise? I'm organizing one in my area (Gay --er Bay Area, california), it's every second or third tuesday of the month. I would be interested in information, activities, as well as those in the area interested, or those in other areas who have experience (not only in Danish language groups, but that would be the most helpful).

One rsvp'd yes, two rsvp'd no (on the same day), no one showed up for an hour. Had a good time drinking carlsberg and studying on my own though! :P I guess I shouldn't be surprised; the decadence of this city mixes with the latinic laziness of the west coast in general and it's a wonder anything gets done at all.
