Interesting website: What color of eyes will your children have? There is an eye color calculator on this site:

http://www.athro.com/

Click on Mendelian Genetics, scroll down, and click on Human Eye Color Heredity Calculator.

If I have children with my boyfriend now our kids will have either blue or green eyes. Or just green, depending on his genes! :ultrawink

The test is all but complete BS. Many fathers suspect their wives of having an affair when their child pops out and has green eyes even know both him and his wife have blue. The reason for this is not completely known but indicates our understanding of genetics is not completely understood. The report I read said nothing about brown eyes but I would suspect it could happen also with a bit more rarity. A person’s genetics is the role of the dice and once and awhile the unexpected snake-eyes come up. A close friend of mine has a father who is 5’7 and a mother, who I would guess, around 5’3. Through some freak of nature, the kid is 6’6! I drink the same water as he and it’s not that.

The test is for fun. We all know genes are unpredictable right?

Its odd but my best mates family have an eye colour scheme which doesnt make much sense to me. Both his parents are blue-eyed, and so are him and his 4 brothers. Yet all 3 of his sisters are brown eyed. Odd huh?

Its Mendel’s law! I cannot believe that you can classify people but not grasp which genes are recessive and which are progressive...

Sorry if I sound arrogant but once you go though the pig slaughter house that is the education system you kind of think you are smarter than every body around you.

Recessive and progresive? Actually, new mutations are nearly always recessive. The afroids have dominant genes for just about everything, and this indicates their more ancient origin. LOL, i find it funny when people who try to argue about who was the first, like it is something good. Being the first simply means you are the older model. Dominant genes are older. It is highly unlikely that afroids have any characteristics that we do not, seeing as they are our ancient ancestors, just like amoeba.

The negroes are the only evolutionary humanoid ancestors we didn't have the capasity to kill because we never came in contact with many of them.

My eyes are hazel (that wasn't an option on the calculator, so I picked brown) and my BF's are blue. Our hypothetical children will be mostly green-eyed. :clap

Hm. Apparently, if I marry the girl I have my eye on now and had five children, three would be brown-eyed and two green-eyed. Nice combination, don't you think? :D
